Just an Ordinary Shop

Description

"Just an Ordinary Shop" is a desktop VR experience. The player takes on the role of a devoted father with two young children, Jack and Angela. Guided by the loving advice and instructions of his wife, Mary, he frequently visits the local market, ensuring his family has everything they need to live a simple yet fulfilling life.

However, this peaceful existence is slowly overshadowed as war begins to creep into the country and disrupt daily life. The player must navigate the increasingly harsh realities unfolding around him, struggling with exponentially rising prices, the looming presence of death, suffering, and, most of all, hunger wielded as a weapon of war.

How to Play

The experience lasts five days. At the beginning of each day, the user finds themselves at the entrance of the supermarket. They check the shopping list and wander around, looking for the products to find, which will be crossed off when located. Once all the items are found, the user can go to the cashier to pay. Exiting the supermarket will automatically advance them to the next day.

Commands

• WASD to move around
• SPACEBAR to open and close the shopping list
• POINTER to aim, as  it turns green
• LEFT CLICK to interact with objects and NPCs 
• DRAG with left click to move around products
